Hello,
I have a huge problem with vMix Calls, the problem is that I experience weird delays with one of my cameras, I use a Cam Link and when I use it on the Calls (I use it on remote places), the ping of the video (and only the video) goes really really high (it can go to up to 60000ms) with a 1080p60 camera (Lumix G7) and almost all the time goes back to normal by speeding up the video when the Camera is in Fullscreen, but not all the time.
Also, whenever I connect, vMix shows the camera with a little yellow line in the middle for a few seconds, which doesn't show up in the beginning.
I managed to fix the problem by using OBS Studio and creating a Virtual Camera but I think it might be a bug that can be fixed so I can use the camera itself?
The problem doesn't appear in the preview at all

Hi,

What source do you have on the call when the Cam Link is not in the output?
Sounds like you might be maxing out the CPU on the system and when it has more complicated video to compress
it spikes. (such as when switching the camera)

Regards,

Martin

The cpu never reaches 100% though, I'm using one of the default 2x2 Virtual Sets when it's not in full screen

It doesn't have to be 100% to cause issues, depending on the system anywhere above 60% will start to cause problems.
Also take into account that more complicated video to compress means higher bandwidth use, which may also be causing issues if the other end is not fast enough to receive it.

I see what you mean, but it's running on a dedicated server... It only happens to my own camera, not the others, so I don't really know what could be the problem... However, the CPU goes at around 70-80% during these calls.
