I note that the vMix SRT option only supports progressive video, whereas Broadcast Televison is interlaced.

Here, the requirement is to deliver EBU designated 1920x1080i/25 video over SMPTE 292M SDI for ingest to Airbox at the uplink site, now on air using DVB-S2 as shown here. https://ydtv.files.wordp...2019/10/image_thumb4.png showing an encoder at the studio. Airbox then delivers 1920x1080i/25 video over SMPTE 292M SDI to the uplink mux encoder.

Being a charitable broadcaster looking for a fundable solution, this would be to replace the encoder with a PC running vMix using a Kiloview D300 decoder at the uplink, for which I am told there is a firmware upgrade for SRT. Doing this also avoids the risks incurred trying to import the encoder to a difficult African country.

To get TV-Broadcast-compatible video out of vMix it is configured for "PAL 50i".

Are there plans to add interlaced in the future ?

I would therefore appreciate advice
Thanks

If there's a way to also include a deinterlacing option, just like bringing in a SDI feed or NDI feed, that would be great.
