Has anyone built a vMix system that can be reliably used as a production NTSC SD switcher/mixer/s.e.g. and if so what hardware did you use? I/O should be at least Y/C or SDI. No streaming/transcoding or IP features are required. The system should have no more than 2 frames latency, should reliably preserve field order and not delay fields between frames (as Vidblaster did during tests a few years ago), introduce no motion artifacts, no tearing, no resizing, and should reliably genlock the output and possibly include software TBC and procamp capabilities. Are the special capabilities of Nvidia Quadro FX CUDA cards for TV production utilized in vMix? Are Blackmagic cards required for output or can the Quadro Analog outputs be reliably used?
Has anyone created an external control panel (console) with a T-bar that works with vMix?
Thanks,
Michael

Talk to Ed Griswold about his range of StreamBreeze machines www.streambreeze.net. Or look at the Next offerings on the vMix website. In terms of the control surface Mike Myers has developed one. Refer here: www.h3j.com
