Hi All,

We keep experiencing a lot of jitter on our NDI feeds out of vMix. I sat down today to try and get to the bottom of it and used the NDI analaysis tool to check it out. Whenever there's visible jitter the bitrate is going up to hundreds and at times over 1000Mbps! At that point it all breaks down and then comes back smooth when it drops down again. Essentially every time the frames are very busy it goes through the roof.

We have an NDI Spark Pro in stock so tried the HDMI out on the PC into that and it "fixes" it. I don't really want to use the spark as I want to be able to send out more than one feed from the PC i.e. with and without overlays. Any ideas on what this might be and if there's anything we can do to set the bitrate in vMix?

Cheers,

Simon

Sounds like a bug in the NDI SDK.

I think I've narrowed this down to using a 10GB port on the PC. Is anyone else using a 10GB port on their setup with NDI and seeing any issues?

Thanks!
