I just bought an Aida HD-100 and am having problems in Vmix with is.

I've set the camera to 1080p60, my OBS display is set to 1080p60, and when I bring the camera into Vmix, i set it to 1080p60.

I can see the camera feed, but it's choppy/laggy.

If I bring the camera into OBS using the same settings, it's perfect.

Is there something I'm overlooking?

Hi,

There is most likely a difference in settings when adding the capture device, what capture card are you connecting the
AIDA to?

Regards,

I'm capturing via HDMI using an external capture device (https://www.avermedia.com/us/product-detail/GC510)

I use this capture device in vmix and obs.

I also use it with other cameras, having no issue on either platform. The issue only occurs with the new Aida camera.

What format is being specified for the camera? If it is currently “default”, try changing it explicitly to “mjpeg”.
This happened to me recently when adding a PTZOptics webcam into vMix... default was very choppy, mjpeg was fine.

That's a USB 2.0 device. You must use MJPEG or H264 as the format to capture 1080p60. Otherwise you overload the USB connection and frames are lost.

This fixed it! Thank you so much, I changed the format to MJPEG and it worked! I tried this before I posted here on the H264 and a couple others, but it didnt help so I gave up and never got to MJPEG.

Thanks again, I'm excited now!!

Hello everyone. I also have a AIDA HD-100A. I am having the same problems. Sometimes when we disconnect the camera and plug it back in, the screen is black and the second camera input glitches black with green. Sometimes while it's black, suddenly the camera works but it's like glitchy and frozen. We have a Elgato game capture device HD(60) S. Any recommendations? My thought is that I need to buy the capture device AIDA offers. (HD to HD), but i am not sure if that is necessary, or if I have to change some settings like input or video format.

Since changing the video format fixed the other person's problem, have you actually tried it?
