How to use “FillOffset” and “StrokeOffset”?

from the help:

Fill/StrokeOffset (Continuous)


Constantly move the Fill (or Stroke) of the object (such as a gradient or picture) in a particular Direction.

For gradients these should be set to Mirror or Wrap for this effect to work correctly.


Adding: pay attention to the direction especially in case of gradients

I still don't understand how to use it, can someone please give me an example of what it actually does? I don't get it

Say you have a rectangle filled with an image, and a stroke (border) also filled with an image

FillOffset wil animate (continuously ) the image within the rectangle , StrokeOfset will do the same for the picture within the stroke(border) ..or gradients
