Hi there

I've just watched a great video on YT who made his own controller for vMIX:

What's very interesting is that he has about 12 transitions in the right hand corner of his controller. He presses FADE and then he presses TAKE for the fade to commence.
And then he presses ZOOM for example and then TAKE again for the ZOOM transition to kick in.
I’m curious how it’s done it terms of combination of shortcuts.

Mine are totally different.

Capture.PNG (5kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

Can anyone please advise of the combination of shortcuts I need to have for this to happen?

Thanks,

Leszek

The 12 buttons use "SetTransitionEffect1" and the "Take" button is just "Transition1".

sorry I don't understand. What would be the combination of the keys then?

No combination required. You really should read and understand the documentation concerning shortcuts.

Button A: Function "SetTransitionEffect1" - Value "Fade"
Button B: Function "SetTransitionEffect1" - Value "Slide"
and so on...

Button X (Take): Function "Transition1"

Bringing up the old topic again.
I've followed Ovinas advice and I've noticed there are only 4 SetTransitionEffects. So basically I could use it for only 4 types of transitions. Unless it's done differently to have all 12 transitions? Any ideas, please?
Thanks,
Les

Sorry but I think I've mastered it now. I've used the names in quotations and it didn't trigger anything. My fault! Sorted now.
