Not something I've double checked yet, but a quick thought I had was wondering if it's a system font thing. Are you using Windows 7? If so, 7 lacks a great deal of emoji support. If it's 10, is it consistent across all emojis, or certain ones?

It's been suggested to use 'Segoe UI Emoji' font.

Intall the font using the link I placed (once downloaded, right click if on a PC and select install). Then open vMix, use the title you want, then right click on the window of the lower third and select Title Editor.
