I am using a input category (Red) specific for my PTZ camera presets.

During a concert I make a lot of temporary presets so it is handy that they appear directly in the red category.

The question is how can I place a new PTZCreateVirtualInput automatically in the Red category?

AFAIK there is no option for a shortcut to place a new input in a specific category.

Do I have to use a script for this or is there another way?

While i don't use a PTZ or virtual one i have to rely on a trying out ;-)

so i had a camera and created a virtual PTZ preset, guess what! When the camera was in Red category (TAB) the created preset also ended up in the red one

Also when one is in a colored category (TAB) a new input goes in the same color category (TAB)

And btw , Posting the same thing as a feature request a day later, which it isnt because there was not an instant respons is a bit rude! Not everyone is in the same timezone!

The new inputs indeed only appear in the red category when the camera is also set as a red category input.

I like to keep my camera' in the all inputs category only. (I'm affraid to close them as well as the presets)

Minimizing the camera's does not help because then the new virtual inputs are also minimized.

You are right, I was a bit too enthousiast and impatient.

well it still will be in both, and you can always undo a delete (using the undo button)

I have filled the remaining space in the upper row with black inputs so the camera's are clearly separated from the presets.

I have to scroll a bit more, but this situation is workable for now. :)
