Hi all, just been playing around with the best streaming settings for my Facebook live shows (near the end of our testing stage) and to date the quality has been poor (sound is good), we lose frames, we have glitches (especially when we use Skype) and sometimes the software just crashes randomly, or freezes when using a webcam!

Incidentally, when using Skype on its own, no problems, when using the webcam on its own, no problems. The issues we have happen when we use vMix going live (private, not public - for testing)

My bandwidth:
30mb download – 12mb upload.

PC:

Intel i7-3770K, 16GB RAM, GeForce GTX 980 (4gb), 2TB HD.

vMix streaming settings:
Facebook H264 720p 1.5mbps AAC 128Kbps (have tried other variations). Application FFMPEG (use hardware encoder is ticked).

I've tried to adjust my streaming settings without any luck. I've checked Facebook and they recommend the following:

Recommended max bit rate is 4000 Kbps (4 mbps).
Recommended audio bit rate is 96 Kbps or 128 Kbps.
Max: 720p (1280 x 720) resolution, at 30 frames per second.
An I-frame (keyframe) must be sent at least every 2 seconds throughout the stream.
Titles must have fewer than 255 characters or the stream will fail.
H264 encoded video and AAC encoded audio only.

With that in mind, I wondered what everyone elses streaming settings are, and did you encounter any issues when you first started using vMix (just thought this thread might help others)?

Thanks in advance.
