lagging MP4 video playout over HDMI - I use vMix for playout of MP4 files. HDMI out is getting dropped frames.

I have a i5, 3rd gen laptop with HDMI out. I notice that playing 14mbps CBR MP4 files is choppy in vMix. It has Nvidia graphics card (NVIDIA NVS 5200M).
Is there anything I could do to improve MP4 files output?

I notice some dropped frames. Anyone have any idea? Why would 14mb CBR encoded file lag in vMIX. VLC out is ok.
