Hi all,
Wondering if someone could please help me with a question?
I want to use vMix to play out lower third titles via SDI into an Atem switcher, and I want vMix to provide a fill + key output.

Question is this: if Vmix is set to output using Overlay 1 for the lower third, what happens after the overlay is disengaged? Will it be a clean black screen?
I want to leave the key on the Atem live the whole time, and use vMix to control when the lower third is in or out.

vMix wont output transparent video as far as i know but its NDI output can (that i know :-) )

if you use VMIX external Output via a Decklink card, you can choose output with alpha.
if the decklink card is configured in his own utility as fill and key, it works perfect.
tested with BM DUO2, QUAD2 and 4K on a ATEM mixer.
