Hi there:

We've been happily using VMix for about a year, but we've run into some issues with overlays when using triggers.

Specifically, we sometimes like to cut to a commercial break out of a replay. However, our replay has some triggers to turn overlays back on 'on transition out' and our commercials have triggers to turn overlays all off 'on transition in.'

But it seems that sometimes the sequencing of those triggers gets screwed up, and the replay triggers end up turning on our scoreboard or other overlay graphics over our commercials. Not ideal.

Are there solutions to this issue?

Maybe a hold screen in between the transition that triggers to instantly transition to the commercials. Might be enough to stop the triggers getting confused, at least for a temporary fix.

Thanks -- great idea. Our fix has been to dip to a color input (black) on a key press and then out to commercials on key release. This has effectively served as a dip to black transition (which Vmix should add as a standard one!) and then eliminated overlay problems.
