I am looking for a way to automatically recover from a failed stream RTMP/RTP/UDP/TS etc.

So if the stream fails when live on the output, I can switch to a 'Wee'l be right back folks' slate, wait for the stream to recover, and switch back to the live stream input.

I just can't figure out a way to detect a failed VLC stream in vMix.

I have come up with some very creative work arounds for some of my unique issues. But this ones stumped me.

Thinking trigger on sound being too low, or something crazy like that (there is always music on my incoming stream).


Any thoughts, ideas, or directions. I am running vMix 4K, so have scripting available to me (which I am OK with).
