Hi Everyone,

I have a couple of older Sony BRC-300 PTZ cameras. They are controlled by either RS422 or RS232 visca. Is there a device that can convert this to something vMix can use to control them? I have used an RS422 connection with the PTZ Controller 3.0 Software, however do not know of any alternatives.

Thanks
m

Hello Mark,

I currently work on somthing you want. I use an Lantronix UDS1100 Serial Server/Converter.

The acctual status is e get this report from vemix "a current connection was closed"

Iam not not really understand how to set up the lantronix and wich ports (forward and backward) to use. Also the lantronix only accepts a single (configurable) ip as an host, which makes the things note more easy.

The camera is an CIscoTandber TTC08-2 wich wotks fine with an usb to serial converter and PTz Controller v3.8 from ptzcontroller.com

I also cross test with rocosoft. I will keep you informed if i have succes.
