I am currently streaming a live parade in our city and we purchased the vMix Basic HD edition.

I'm supposed to have 4 inputs plus 3 capture inputs and all I get is 3 inputs, including capture.

It didn't occur to me that it wouldn't work, so I didn't test it before setting up the parade and it's a major issue.

Also, while we're on the subject... from 4/3 to 1000/1000?!? That's quite a jump and a significant price jump as well. How about a 10/10 or 15/10 in between? Or the ability to purchase additional inputs as addons in packs of 10.

I'm writing a review for a couple of magazines and I'm afraid I'll be making a big deal about that.

Hi,

vMix has been updated to 12, which you can download below:

http://www.vmix.com.au/download.aspx

You can take advantage of a new 60 day trial with this version.

As for Basic HD, the pricing is done at a significant discount to help users get started with live production.
It is provided with a maximum of 4 inputs, 3 of which can be used with capture.

The pricing for vMix HD is based around approximately 8 inputs or more.

Regards,

Martin
