Video Delay Saved Clip Resolution

Hi Everyone -
I produced my first vMix broadcasts this weekend as American College Basketball for the NCAA Division III teams had their conference tournaments conclude over the past couple days. Ustream apparently had a national outage here that cost us the last few minutes of my second broadcast, but the first broadcast went flawlessly. I'll post the YouTube link once it fully uploads.
With that said, I noticed that clips saved from Video Delay windows would only save at a resolution of 720x480 despite the original devices and the video delay windows having 720p or 1080p resolutions. Is there a way to save these clips and have a list window that opens up at 1080p? I can't find a setting, and the quality of the saved clips was far inferior to the actual video delay video we would utilize at times. Thanks for any help you can provide.
- Frank

Hi Frank, The resolution of the Video Delay might be 720x480 if using the DV codec as that is the maximum resolution it supports. For larger sizes, try downloading the GoPro CineForm codec and using that instead. http://gopro.com/softwar...pro-studio-edit-softwareRegards, Martin vMix

The product is great, and I'm trying to get my colleagues at D3hoops.com to adopt the software as well. PM me sometime if you want to discuss that. In the meantime, here is a link to the GNAC Men's Championship game. We had one hiccup when I ended up on the wrong camera when I had to run and speak with one of the cameraman that was a distance away. Otherwise, I really enjoyed using the software.

It is unfortunate that this YouTube clip has been flagged for a copyright violation in the US.

In fact, that's what happened. I had fought the flag based on "fair use," but UMG denied my initial appeal. Instead of risking a copyright strike on my account, I overdubbed music onto that portion of the video last night (thanks for the head's up since I never received an email notification from YouTube of the denial of my original appeal). As a lawyer, I will say that UMG doesn't have a legal leg to stand on based on the fair use doctrine. That said, I wouldn't know who to direct the claim toward over there, and YouTube will obviously not mediate the situation. The path of least resistance is to, when flagged, overdub it or try the remove-a-song beta (which did not work in this case). Anyway, if you care to view the video, it should be back up and viewable after last night's edit. Thanks again. - Frank
