GPIO is supported via Arduino. But not everybody is able to handycraft this togehter. I used the Numato GPIO Modules for other projects. They are ready to use and also quite cheap. 16 Ch GPIO USB ModuleEach Module can act as In or Out, so also shortcuts or other actions could be triggered easy from these interfaces.
