Weird letter-boxing on first load of any virtual set

I've got a couple of virtual sets- which are a single camera looking at a desk with a TV that has a greenscreen on it. Everything works- except that the main camera (which looks fine on it's own input) is slightly zoomed out (which creates a black boarder all the way around the output)
This is quickly fixed by zooming in from "1" to "1.023" -- that's it. But I have to do it each and every time I reload this profile.
I even have all 4 pre-set zoom levels set to the 1.023, because in this instance, we never want camera movement.
For the most part, I try to remember to load the profile, and then run through the cameras, and click one of those presets to have it auto zoom in.
I've tried saving at this point, but anytime I reopen, it's set back to 1.
So I guess there are two ways I can see of fixing this- A. How do I get it to save with the 1.023 zoom ratio already to go every time I open it up B. What setting am I missing somewhere that 1 doesn't equal 1 when I go from the camera input to a virtual set?

Don't know about code. I'll look for that. Is there code or script that can be run at load that will set the zoom level to 1.023?
