Hello,

I have a insolvent problem with audio on live streaming and vMix.

I use a live streaming (rtmp or rtsp) and the audio control is inactive, not completely inactive because if my level is 100%, i have a sound, if my level is under 100% (0 to 99%), i have no sound ! This problem impact the audio level of the input OR the master and ONLY with a live streaming in input.

If i test with another input (Avi file or other), no problem with the mixer.

I have test with 2 stream: one rtmp (MPEG / MPEG AAC), one RTSP (MPEG4 / MP3): same problem.

I have test on VLC, all streams are correct.

I have test with: vMix v9/v11 and v12. I have test on 3 computers on WinXP and Win7. I have test to change my flash version (V10, V11 and the new V12). Updated my sound card driver and change my .net framework.

Do you have an idea ?

Many thanks for you reply.

Hi,

First of all can you confirm the RTSP format? vMix only supports H264 with AAC audio, so if it is
MPEG4/MP3 it should not be playing at all.

If you are referring to just the Flash/RTMP input, then it might be a strange problem with flash.
Maybe if you could email me the stream address I can take a look.

Thanks for the email, the problem appears to be due to the
use of a comma instead of a full stop for decimal numbers in some regions.

This will be fixed in the final vMix version, but for now you could try changing
the decimal symbol to . in the control panel under Region and Language -> Additional Settings
although this is only a temporary workaround.
