Is it possible to use a Shortcut to Add, Remove, or Change an existing Shortcut?

What I am trying to do is use one joystick for adjusting multiple PTZ inputs.

I am thinking of two options:

1.) A button on the joystick is used to toggle joystick control between each PTZ input.

2.) A button for setting joystick controls to Preview input PTZ, and another botton for setting joystick controls to Live input PTZ.

Is either of these possible? Scripting? API? Something else?

Is there another option?
