Hi,

We're testing out GeniusSports FIBA LiveStats for a potential sports client. Reading older posts, it sounds like it's widely used in Australia. However, when they changed from version 6 to 7, they switched from outputting XML with a mini webserver to outputting JSON.

We've used their provided TV Feed program to confirm the data is being put out correctly:

TvFeedClientForm.png (389kb) downloaded 20 time(s).

When I add the data source URL to Vmix, it does briefly connect to the program:

Livestats Screenshot.png (125kb) downloaded 9 time(s).

However, it always returns the following error:

Vmix Data Sources.png (40kb) downloaded 7 time(s).

Using variations on the local ip address didn't help, nor did changing the port number.

Is there any known way to get vMix to connect to this program?

Thanks
MartLeib

Hi!

FLS does not output JSON "file" that can be used by vMix like this, you need an agent software to use the data in vMix. I have worked extensively with the v6, which has same system to get data, only with XML feed and I can help out with the v7. If you are interested, contact me at mart.leib.estonia@gmail.com
