Greetings. I have a Logitech BRIO webcam that is connected to my PC by a 50 foot Ethernet cable via USB extension adapters. The webcam functions fine when connected directly, and it also appears fine in the Logitech camera settings software ( I get a clear picture and can adjust camera settings no problem-o)

Unfortunately Vmix is having an issue connecting to this camera when it's extended via enthernet. I get the error "Capture Resolution is not supported by this device." Does anyone have any tricks to get it to work? I tried selecting lower resolutions, but nothing works. It's so odd to me that I can connect to the camera in Logitech's software, but not Vmix. To be clear, I am closing the Logitech software before opening Vmix.

Any tips or insights would be appreciated! I figure it has something to do with the ethernet cord changing the signal in a way Vmix isn't digging. Thanks!

I got it to show up in Vmix at the smallest possible resolution, which won't work for me. I assume the connectors don't allow for fast enough speed to keep the data flowing. The reallllly weird part is that the Logitech software can show me a high resolution feed no problem... head scratchin' over here.

I have Brio and a 100 foot active USB 2 extender. In a quick test they work well together, within the limits of the USB 2 link.

Using the Logitech Brio selection (Direct Show access) I can achieve 1080p30 if I select MJPEG encoding.

If I select the Logitech Brio MF access method the best I can achieve is 720p30.

Your Ethernet extender appears to be suspect. Beyond a certain length you really need an active extender to reshape the signal to overcome line loss.
