What's the best way to reduce GPU memory being taken up? I have a total of 50 input's with 96% GPU memory taken up. 4 Cameras (4 virtual), color bars, 15 .mov's that are lower 1/3rds with Alpha channels, And a few other titles (.gtzip)

I thought about changing the .mov's to image sequences to see if that will help. Any other suggestions? CPU mem is about 20 percent, the issues we're having is with GPU memory being taken up. This is on a GTX 1770. Intel I7 4790K @ 4.0Ghz. 1080P show.

From my experience with a similar issue, its the MOV's that are clogging up the GPU.

Try copying the project, and opening the copy. then delete the MOV's and see what the GPU is down to at that point. I am pretty sure that is your problem. Image sequence is less taxing on the system.

I read somewhere that putting videos into a list prevents them from lowding into video memory. The selected video in the list will be rhe only one loaded into video memory any any given time.

I'm not sure how well that would work for him using them as lower thirds. It might though. Worth trying
