vMix SD Camera Input Restriction

Hello,
I had been using the full featured Vmix free trial with many different inputs with success. I just purchased the SD version since it was affordable and the HD is not. I was hoping to be able to use my same setup but just have the output and recorded captures be SD, 768 x 576 or less if necessary and be 16 x 9 aspect ratio preferably.
I'm on Windows 10 using a an Elgato Cam Link Capture device connected to my GH4 camera. When selecting the camera input in vMix and the Camlink option I'm running into the issue of the device not supported because "The selected resolution is not supported in this Edition of vMix. Upgrade Vmix to enable more features." I also have Game Capture HD installed by Elgato where I can convert my 1080p camera input to 640x480. This does work but then the aspect ratios are all off with my project.
I did not realize and had not found any info on the SD restriction being on the input. Does anyone have a suggestion for a work around besides paying the extra $200 for the HD version of vMix? Unfortunately that's not an option for us.

I believe your issue may be with the CamLink. I don't believe there is a resolution below 720.

CamLink has no scaling engine. It will only deliver 640x480 if the source material is already at that resolution.
