Hi Melody,
I am not seeing any artifacts in testing using Flash Media Live Encoder, could you be more specific?
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Hi ADMIN. I've a problem with the date (the hour exactly) in the AVI output file. The problem is the same for older versions of VMIX. I've discover that the date who is write in the output file name is in reality pron the last file. Can you tell me if I'm the only one to have this problem. I've test it on 3 PCs. You can see this picture, it's more clear ;-) Regards.

Hi omnisound,
The date in the AVI file is when the recording first starts in vMix. I'm guessing you have the date column setup to show the modified time, that is the time when the recording finished.

yes you have the choice between "modifié le" (in french) and "date de création". Use a right-clic on the bar to display one or another or both.
in french: effectivement il doit s'agir d'un choix d'affichage, un clic droit sur la barre supérieure permet de choisir entre la date de création et/ou de modification

Hi Martin. I have just started testing vMix 2011 v11 and found a problem using BlackMagic Decklink hardware as external output.
Test environment: - Windows 7 pro 64 bit platform with BlackMagic Decklink SDI or Decklink Quad boards (both types separatedly tested) - Basic HD vMix licenses with vMix 2011 v11 - 720x576 resolution - Input to VMix. Different cases: Decklink board capture or video file play (only one input in each test case) - External output. Decklink renderer, SDI port in BlackMagic board (Quad and SDI have been tested), connected with SDI cable to a SDI recorder.
Problem description: - When External "Start" is clicked, only a frozen frame appears in the SDI recorder, and vMix interface buttons stop working (External "Stop" or any mixing functions dont work)
Same environment works fine with vMix 2011 v9b.
Best regards,
Antonio

Hi,
A couple of things to try:
1. Check under Output Format in Performance tab of settings and try the different options to see if any of them work. 2. Make sure the resolution and frame rate (system) in vMix matches that of the recorder.
Thanks,
Martin vMix

Also, If the audio settings have been set in External Output, try setting them to none as they block it if set incorrectly.

Hi Martin. Thanks for your fast response. - I have tryed all the options in Output format (UYVY, YUY2, RGB32 and ARGB32) with the same result - The recorder matches the vMix settings. The problem remains the same (vMix buttons stop working when External start is pushed) even if the recorder is not plugged - The audio in External output has been allways set in none
Related with the problem description: I am using a video file playing as vMix input (I have tryed differnt formats). When the vMix buttons get blocked, the file still plays in all the vMix displays. To exit the vMix, I neeed to kill the application using the Task Manager.
Thanks again. Regards, Antonio

Hi Antonio,
I have found the issue causing the External Output to fail under v11. This will be fixed soon, thankyou for pointing it out.
Regards,
Martin vMix
