Facebook change the live protocol. The new protocol is RTMPS. Vmix does not enhance this protocol. will an update be made?

vMix fully supports RTMPS in versions 21 and 22. Simply copy and paste the URL as normal or use the built in Facebook destination.

I got that same error message tonight when I was trying to stream to YouTube. I was simultaneously trying to stream to Facebook and YouTube (to a Facebook Page and YouTube channel, both of which I had streamed to simultaneously a few weeks ago using RTMP setup for each without issue). I sent a message to vMix support and got a response back within minutes advising that I had an extra space before the URL. I checked and sure enough, when I had copied and pasted the URL, I had accidentally copied a blank space before the URL. Ooops... and duh! Unfortunately, I guess my vision isn't sharp enough and I missed that and/or I was careless when copying and pasting the URL. Maybe see if that was your issue as well?

RTMPS support is available in the latest vMix 21 and 22 versions. If you receive an error using RTMPS it means the latest 21 is not installed.
Receiving the error for normal RTMP usually means there is a typo on the URL or extra spaces in the wrong place, so check for that as well.
