We use a PC with a Forcusrite Scarlet 2i2 audio interface and we would like for the headphone output of the interface to be "post mix", so we can evaluate the final sound coming out from vMix.

When we use it "out of the box", we hear both the input AND the output with a slight delay.

I’ve tried fiddling around with the settings but the best we seem to be able to get, is the headphone out to give us a copy of the input to the interface but this way, we cannot hear the output from vMix after mixing, using plugins etc.

Do you know how to get the post-setup we need ?

I would say that you definitely need to have the "Direct Monitoring" on the Scarlet switch set to OFF, or else you will hear a direct feed of the unit's input(s)in the mix. Then you need to set the audio output device for vMix (probably for Main, unless you want to monitor a different bus) to playback via the Scarlet.

Makes sense - if this is the case, I misunderstood the idea with "direct monitoring". I just thought it would bypass the main volume switch.

I'll have a try and let you know, if this fixes it - thanks !
