Does anyone know if it is possible to hook up a normal USB webcam to a PC on my network, then set that camera as an IP Stream Input in vMix?

I tried using YAWCAM but that doesn't use RTSP.

It looks like using WebcamViewer with vMix desktop capture works as a useable solution.

hi, what you can do is this:

hook your webcam on any pc in your network. run a program like vlc, capture the webcam in that, full screen. run desktop capture and the import that into vmix directly.

depending on your computer you can get up to 1080p 25 or 30 woth sound and almost no latency.

i use this method to compose a simple and cost effective mobile wireless webcam using a small laptop. works like a charm...

Thanks! That's effectively what I was doing with the WebcamViewer application, although VLC has a lot more options! So, thank you.
