Would appreciate some advice based on experience on how to get a number (say, up to 12) of live callers into the show.

Currently using VMix 4K, which allows 2 Vmix callers. Obviously, VMix Pro allows up to 8 callers, but this is a one-off show, can’t really justify the upgrade cost for that.

Skype/NDI seems to have reliability issues from other postings here.

We have a subscription to GoToMeeting – not sure if anyone’s integrated that yet?

Discord might be an option, simply using screen capture.

Would be useful to know how anyone else might have tackled this – thanks!

Yes, Zoom.US would work. The truth is that you can do this with any video conference service that supports a soft client.

You screen capture the soft client into vMix. You can use external or NDI Scan Convertor to send vMix video into the Zoom Client.

External is for when Zoom is running on your vMix host.

NDI Scan Convertor is for when Zoom is running on another PC and you need to pass vMix output via NDI to that PC.

It bears a little experimentation, but it's not difficult.

The trouble with Zoom (IMHO) is that it's limited to 720p30. That's why vMix Call is preferable.

OK, thanks - will try it with GoToMeeting, since I know it quite well and it seems pretty similar to Zoom. Useful hint about the NDI Scan Convertor, thx! P.
