Hello Everybody,

I just upgraded from an underpowered laptop to the following laptop.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CTL2YRY Acer Predator Helios 500 PH517-51-72NU

I would like to do video editing on this one so I am looking for an external drive that takes advantage of this laptop's specs. I have Thunderbolt (apparently two thunderbolts) thingies, so what would be my next step? I assume I would use thunderbolt to connect to any external drives. I would want a drive that I can daisy chain with another drive at some point -- if only to make backups of that drive.

What would you recommend SSD-wise, and speed wise, considering I will be doing video editing on this laptop (instead of my current hand built tower, which is several years old).

Thanks!
