I am new here, and a complete beginner when it comes to video streaming and production. Before I spend a great deal of time writing about my situation and questions, I wanted to make sure I was in the right place.

I have been asked to put together a streaming package, from cameras, camera related HW, software, PCs, etc. I have been asked because no one in my group knows about this, and I know how to write software and develop website, so they thought I was the obvious fit.

Can people here help me with suggesting cameras and camera related hardware, or is this a forum only about the actual PC hardware? If this is not the right place, can someone direct me to a better place.
