Hello, thanks for any help.

I have created a title template consisting of 6 fields of text.
I have successfully mapped data from various forms of data files to these fields of text and all is good within vMix. They update as they should.

However when I close and reopen the title within vMix all of the data mappings are gone. I've read the online help, watched the videos and searched and I'm stumped.

I hope I have explained this clearly, thanks for anyone's help.

You need to save as presets and reopen it that way for the mapping to be recuperated (top left of the vMix window)

Thanks Doggy. I see saving the entire vMix session as a preset does work, thanks.

But I guess there is no way to bake this into the title template itself? So every time it is loaded, no matter which the project, it maintains the data mapping?

would be hard to do in a titel template as a title is not restricted to a one use with another setting in a project but you can reload part of your presets or even in advance save an inidvidual preset of a title ( preperation ) as one can load individual parts of presets also (through opening a preset file which gives you the option of all individual elements ie not through the little down arrow)

Mind you ... the datasource will have to be set before you do that say you start a new project with no datasource this binding will be lost (open versus append)
