I'm wanting to have a LIVE bug only on the streaming output while recording program without the bug for archival and non live purposes. It would be really nice to be able to use one of the overlays and be able to assign it to specific record stream or external. For example if I wanted a dirty program to go out on the stream, external recorder and clean program to go out on record.

Right now if you go into settings, output / NDI

You can assign what overlays are going to your full screen output and one separate for the output of your record stream external.
It would awesome if you could assign output to Record, Stream, External separately with what overlays go to each specific output.

I would end up setting my show like this,

Output - Record - Clean Feed (all off)
Output - Stream - All On
Output - External - 1,2,3,5,6 (Live bug on 4 not being added to program) (archival)

Just for follow up I would like to see something like this... Except have Full screen Stream and Recording External as separate choices.

you are requesting something that is already possible

can do with version 4K or pro

That's not worth 350 to upgrade from HD to 4K. Not at all. Honestly, HD and 4K should have the same features minus the resolution. If we were going to upgrade to 4K then I might consider the upgrade. I'm a non profit on an ultra low budget. 350 is a lot of cash to us.

Are you serious ? have you looked at the comparison table
Many of us work on a tight budget or not even work on a professional level
Its a choise you make , the more bells and whistles the more it will cost and in the case of vMix its still cheap and most of all very reliable

of course you that is all you want i agree but there are other solutions to that then: get another basic license, and stream with one after adding the logo and record with the other (or add other software)
Work with the tools one can afford

Let me clarify.. as it reads like the 4K upgrade isn't worth it. It is. It's not worth the upgrade to 4K just for that feature is what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.

True for just this one feature but as said there are many workarounds for this while some might look to be free initially (software) but might need extra hardware etc
In the end its all about how important it is for you

Just use OBS to stream. Add vMix video source, add overlay, done.

Record with vMix.
