hello, i am quite new with vmix and i have a little audio problem. it seems not to be a real vMIX problem but might you know the case...
i am running a HP Zbook on Win7 and a ZOOM H4 audio device as a USB MIC. my sound is running well on the zoom (headset output sounds great) but in the notebook the "system" (not sure if it is the soundcard or win7 or bios or what ever) the audio is automaticly gaining around. means when i have for example a speeker it sounds good and as soon as he is not talking, the notebook pushes the low level up and surroundnoise will be much more present. if the speeker starts to talk again, the level goes back to a good level of the voice... the zoom device does nothing like this because in the output there is always the same, doesnt matter what kind of sound goes trough. is sounds like a autogain function turning in when sound has low level.
anyone knows this issue? sound settings in win7 changes nothing so far... everyhere autogain and stuff is turned off. also in vmix. in vmix it is the same issue when i am listening to the usb mic input... same as in win7... only on the h4 recorder it self it sounds good.
thank you for some feedback, Dom
