Hi Our plan is to stream live a football game with 2 cams. Each cam has a rtmp encoder and a 4g mobile.
Our director seat in the studio 150 miles away and put the streams into vmix.
Does anybody how we can manage this?
Delay sure would be a problem.
Thanks for any tips.
Best regards Patrick

Be aware that the RTMP encoder introduces some delay. That should be constant.
The 4G wireless link will introduce its own delay. That can be quite variable.
In some cases the buffering is there for a reason. While you can tune the buffers sizes and shorten delays, you might find that the link become less reliable. The buffers are there to accommodate variability in the network.

Transitioning from one camera to another could be a challenge for the viewers since the cameras aren't going to be synced because of the variable delay as mjgraves pointed out.
