Those of you streaming regularly on vimeo, would you mind posting the stream settings that are working for you? Though we have had a couple of successful streams, we have a severe timeout situation going on most of the time we try to stream (if memory serves) ffmpg 1080p 4.5m/s, to pre-set streams.

We have no problem with bandwidth on our end (+/- 70Mmbs up and down- yes, up too) but it can take up to 90 sec to sync and often drops out.

Any help is appreciated.

it's now run by livestream.com, basically abandon ship, I can't tell you the runarounds I've had with them

I do have an update.. It seems that Vimeo is randomly deactivating persistent stream keys. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to that behavior. Livestream systems in the same church network have no problem apparently, only our system running vMix.

Once we create a new stream key, we're able to stream just fine for a show or two. Note: They desire the persistent keys because changing it might be a bit too much for some operators.

Has anyone run into that problem?

Is it a vMix issue?

It looks like in vMix 22 this will be addressed.


Taken from release notes.

* Vimeo streaming provider now supports selecting a previously setup event to stream to.
