Hi,

Using Vmix with bluefish 444 epoch as external SDI output.
Configuring the Video card and receiving video INPUT works well!
But when I click on 'External' button to start broadcast TO the video card, an error message appears:

StartStopExternal
Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'fq'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{2EA965DA-51BD-4BDD-94CF-6A4D6541260C}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).

Has anyone experienced with Bluefish Video card, or could it be a different issue?

Spec:
Windows 7 Pro
18G RAM
NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800
Bluefish 444 Epoch driver ver. 5.11.0.55

I just came across this exact issue and found the resolution. vMix uses the DirectShow drivers to work with the card, but what isn't documented is that it requires the legacy version of the drivers. Instructions on how to install the legacy drivers are located in the Bluefish444_DirectShow_quickstart.pdf file which comes with the driver installer. Basically it is a .bat file you need to run with administrator privileges.
