This is kinda difficult to explain. I have a boxing "Tale of the Tape" type graphic... A fighter on the left, and a fighter on the right, each with stats.

I want to basically show fighter "A" who's details are from row 1 of the spreadsheet and fighter "B" who's details are from the 2nd row...

I KNOW I can duplicate the title and make a rows to columns work, but if there was a way to just add a +1 equation in there instead I could see how this would be useful for other things as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Why would you need to duplicate the title ?

either you have them all in one title and you use the convert rows
or you have 2 separate titles ( a left and a right part maybe even combined in a multiview) and you just use a different line of your data source table for each title

Thanks for the suggestions doggy.

A little more detail: I will have a spreadsheet with all the fighters.

Row 1 is Fighter A - Bout 1
Row 2 is Fighter B - Bout 1
Row 3 is Fighter C - Bout 2
Row 4 is Fighter D - Bout 2 ...and so on

A&B need to be compared to each other and so do C&D etc, etc... If I use columns to rows I can’t advance in the data manager and have it update in a single title. Or can I?

I will have to look into the multiview idea. Thanks for that tip.

There is always a way with some imagination
updating the DS will update the title

But i guess you mean by advance in the DS that you want to switch from A&B to C&D , in that case i woud opt for the two title multiview option , have a few shortcuts that advance your rows by 2 (and back in case off ;-) ) to go from AB to CD etc . One shortcut can do multiple commands at the "same time"
One can also structure your list accordingly like 2 boxer's stats per row etc.

if it is something you will use very often one could invest in making a custom title with some processing code behind it that read your data and processes it accordingly and externally controlled but that's different ball game. each way has its pros and cons

ps, name your title textfield names the same as your DS column headers, will save you time in configuring your title (autoconnect to the data)

Holy smokes I didn't realize you could auto connect using matched naming conventions. That is huge. ..and makes sense now. I always thought the "auto" was a 1 to 1 thing...

Thanks for all the tips.
