Can playlist be interrupted like this?

We're trying out vMix for a sporting event this January and we'd like to have a setup like this:
MAIN content is 10 sponsor videos.
ADDITIONAL content is 5 graphics (like yellow card, goal etc.)
The main content will be set to run automatically over and over again but the additional content is going to be triggered by an iPad at the DJ booth next to our video production booth.
Is it possible for us to have the 10 sponsor videos outputting in loop all through the match and then run the additional graphics when needed, so that the main loop of videos will return after each graphic has ended?

Yes
vMix has 4 independant overlays and several commands to control their behaviour
vMix also brings us multiviews with several commands to control their behaviour
There are several ways to do what you want...
Check the tutorials on vMix YT channel and read the manual. I gave you the keywords.
