Hi
Let's say I'm doing a live, big screen presentation with 4 camera inputs and a PowerPoint file in vMix.
Is it possible for me to set up a "rule", "trigger" etc. to make the PowerPoint slide visible in program output automatically when the presenter jumps to the next page in the presentation?
I.e. so all "page forward" = "put the damn thing on screen with touching anything" :)

I don't think it's possible.
I'd like to get your attention on one thing : vMix is a live production switcher that's supposed to be operated by a director. Directing a show is a noble and lucrative job whose specificity is to decide what's seen by the audience at any time. If anything can be "automatic" in vMix, we're out of job. I wish this day never comes...

All you need to do is set up a midi command that uses some API to order coffee from a delivery service. Alternatively put a GPIO interface to a coffee maker to start your coffee with a trigger when you put on the ads/pause screen

Conceptually, this isn't that difficult. In practice, I've never done it, but I have some ideas about how it could be done. VBScript, Powershell and/or VBA are your tools in this effort. 1. From within PPT - craft a VBA macro that sends a select input command to vMix via the API. Attach that macro to some entity on each slide, so it runs on slide advance. This has the advantage of being responsive to a wireless remote control, if your presenter wants to use such a tool. As an example, see http://www.pptfaq.com/FA..._that_runs_code_also.htm2. Create your own remote control scheme - craft a script (vbscript?) external to PPT to advance the slide and select the vMix input. Assign that script to a button on a small xkeys keypad (or similar.) Maybe one of those big read EASY buttons to advance the slide? Many ways to do this, if you can work with a script language and have a little creativity.
