I want to stream in three resolutions 1080p, 720p and 360p to let's say Akamai. They have primary and backup entry points. This sums up to 6 streams concurrent. Let's assume hardware and network could handle it. How would I do it with vMix or what restream/simulcast/platform service provider would you recommend that is capable of this ingesting just the highest resolution.
Thanks Jens

Nobody answers. This could have two reasons. #1 Nobody knows. #2 The question is too stupid. I'll keep on looking for myself. If one day one has a good solution please let me know.

Anyway streaming different resolutions is very outdated. Since at least 3 or 4 years, best practice nowadays is to streama single feed with best resolution/bitrate to a platform that handles the transcoding to all resolutions/bitrates. Thus with 3 potential streaming slots your problem is solved... However streaming to a primary and backup server from a SINGLE computer makes not much sense. Again best practice is to use several encoders/networks when you want to do this... Akamai will not fail... You might...
