There is a definite need for saving recorded files with Incremental filenames rather than the date/time naming convention being used now.

When using the current date-time naming system it forces us to go in and rename all our recorded files, which is not only cumbersome but also leads to mistakes.

I realize that some users would prefer the date-time option but maybe Incremental Filenames could be provided as an option for those of us who would like to organize our files more efficiently - and I'm sure there are enough of us around to warrant that system?

Thanks
Pesi

+1. I would love this. I am constantly renaming my vMix file names to something more relevant to the content.

Not getting any love after 2 years? +1 for me. I do want to use date codes, but not time. Unfortunately, if we need to manually stop and start the recording a few times, like for breaks, the file is overwritten. Yes, I know it can create a new file every x minutes, but we never know when the Commissioners will take a break.
