Hi Everyone
I have a 2014 Macbook Pro running Windows 10. 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Ram and NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB/Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. Will this be man enough to run vMix HD with 3x PTZOptics camera's via NDI and a Black Magic Intensity shuttle capturing a laptop output? I want to be able to d a single stream @ 1080 and record simultaneously. At some points I will have the camera and capture PIP'ed
You thoughts and advice will be appreciated
Rob

Let's assume that it's this model: https://support.apple.com/kb/SP704?locale=en_USThe 13" models only had dual-core CPUs. The 15" models had the quad-core CPU options. It can work, but there will be limits. The GPU is a lightweight. That will impact your ability to use many sources or create complex layers. You have TB2 ports, which limits your ability to use an external PCIe chassis. The very best thing to do is get the demo and actually try it. You can use software-based NDI sources to emulate the cameras. A webcam to emulate a USB3-attached BMD device. It could work well enough, or it could be on-the-edge. Here's a tip - One of the great things about NDI is it allows us to divide up workflows that were once constrained to be on the same hardware. You can use the MBP to stream, and use another computer to record the program output via NDI. That reduces the burden on the MBP.
