Give Vmix exclusive control over audio in/outputs
Dell Windows 10. Front input jack
Line IN 3.5mm jack ---- I want this audio input to be sent to vmix. I don't want it send out again through the Speaker output.
I will play VT's in vMix and want to send their audio out through the speaker output.
My Line IN audio always got out to the speaker output. If I mute the speaker output I can't send my VT audio out through the speaker output on my Dell windows computer.
Anybody know how to solve this?

Vmix provides everything you need for total audio control. https://www.vmix.com/help21/Audio3.htmlI guess you just need to set your audio right in WINDOWS. As I see it, you've got the monitoring option for mic activated in WINDOWS. There are hundreds of videos on the internet that show how to use (and learn) how audio works in windows Guillaume

I solved the problem. In windows 10 'Playback Devices' headphones/speakers. There was an additional Front Line level input setting that I needed to mute to prevent the audio been sent to the speaker output. I have now have full audio control in vmix. Thank you for your help.

Good! And now you "learned" something. If I had given you the solution at once, you'd have solved the issue but not understood how audio works in Windows...
Happy vMixing! Guillaume
