I really like the approach of title designer GT. Simple, fast, but while keeping a lot of creative options.

I think it would be great if you could use the same tool to create video compositions. In GT it seems you reference text inputs that are then edited trough the Title Editor. If you could reference surfaces that are Multiview Overlays of the input, you could create much more advanced Mutiviews, with multiple transitions and all the GT features while keeping the automation/routing/API control capabilities of Multiview Overlays.

You could use GT as a "scene'" editor, with much more features than what Multiview Overlays could do today.
