Hi Martin,
Thanks once again for vMix!
I have a few requests that might be worthy of discussion here on the board.
1: Could we have the ability to change the background color and brightness?
2: Once the camera or other input device is selected, the arcane filename or video device name is of not much use in a production enviornment in my opinion. I would ask for the ability to name the camera or other device as I see fit. I could for example call it Camera 1 or Side Shot etc. instead of Osprey..... Does this seem doable?
3: This is a big one! How about when in 16x9 modes, the input and monitor screens switch to that aspect ratio as well so all that real estate is not left blank?
4: Finally, this might be a niche request but here goes. In my main application of vMix it is used on an internet show that runs for 5 hours every Wednesday. My switcher operator will not sit at the switcher for those 5 hours in a row! What I request is the ability to choose cameras to autoswitch at regular intervals. Like Cam1 for 15sec then Cam2 for 15sec then Cam3 for 15sec then back to Cam1. The duration of a camera on should be adjustable in the 5 to 60 second range and the transition should be adjustable as either a cut or a fade of 1 to 10 seconds.
I hope I haven't overloaded you all with these! I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks.
Tony

The ability to edit the input titles is being added to the next release.
As for Automation, this is currently planned for the upcoming "Professional" edition of vMix. It will include the ability to create a list of "actions" (mainly switching/fading between inputs) and then be able to time these actions.
At the moment there are three tasks that will be offered, Switch (switch or fade to input with customisable fade time), Wait and Loop. Using a combination of switch, wait and loop you should be able to build the switching you require.
These will also be setup as custom toggle buttons.
