HI !!
multi channel audio recording up to 8 channels wave and mxf, should be great when we have a enterview with several people and we want to get control of them all seperatley in post production, and not using another device to recording multi audio channel. ie would be great to have more busses and more outs.
Cheers,
PFBM

Hey Paulo!
vMix is made for video switching, not audio engineering. Special audio needs can be handled externally in so many different ways very easily... just use Ravenna or Dante for this... Or a DAW or even Audacity. Or external recorders like Tascams or Zooms...
Do you ask a knife manufacturer to make it a fork? DO you ask a sound console to record video too? Why do you want vMix to do everything? There are dedicated tools for everything. Audiovisual has always been a matter of associating the appropriate tools to reach your objectives...
Soon people will ask vMix to replace Photoshop and Excel too because, you understand, it would be convenient!!! NO!!!
Bom dia anyway! ;o)
Friendly, Guillaume

Friendly, Guillaume You are wrong , and please there is no need to go for exagerations..... the power of vmix is on all in one tool. and having capability to do more than two audio channels recording is a plus very handy. just like a video recorder with 8 audio channels... simple as that.... Cheers !!! :)
