Vmix how to retrieve configuration file? I overwrote my main file. Does Vmix have save a backup?

Is there a way to retrieve a configuration file.

I overwrote my main file.

Does Vmix have a location that I can find a backup & where would it be on Win 8.1?

I'm afraid you might be out of luck.

However, if you haven't used vMix since last you used your main file, you might be able to restore it by opening vMix and clicking on the "last" button. This will open the previous vMix setup. This is afaik the only automated backup that vMix has.

If you want to protect yourself for the future, look into something like Dropbox. I believe they have an option to go back to an older version of a file.
