Hi All,
We have recently updated the forums and would like your feedback on any issues you might encounter in this thread. One of the major improvements is the forums should work a lot better on mobile devices now, so give it a go and let us know your thoughts!
Thanks,
Martin vMix

On a 1440p screen, when there is no vertical scrolling available, the scroll bar blinks when moving round the mouse. This only happens when the window is exactly 1440 pixels at the moment, which happens when I use half my screen (which I do a lot for browsing) Example video: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/317837140Also, this only happens on the front page.

In Chrome desktop on Win 10:
1. There are times when the blue banner across the top of the item has blue text. Other occasions where it's black. The dark on dark combinations are difficult to read.
2. Inconsistent section head bars - font for the forum label ("Forum)" is black and very small. For "Active Discussions" and "Information" it's white (more appropriate) and quite large (as in pre-update.)
3. Inside a thread there's a "multi-quote" text label that appears to be adrift. It has no associated link or button.
4. There are no avatars available.
5. In the "Options" pulldown menu the listed items are white text over white background, making them unreadable.

I suspect your browser might be caching the old sites styles. If you shift+refresh a few times most of these issues should be resolved.

First impression, it's maybe better for mobile but I feel like there's a lot of space wasted on computers. I'm so used to the old one. I see there's a lot of new cosmetic (thus useless) features and some things are gone too. I'll report back after more experience with it.
Like Doggy I think the search option should take 1/2 the screen in order to get a chance to be used ! lol !
So far, not my cup of tea and I don't think responsiveness is a must for such a forum if we want correctly explained issues, full descriptions, real answers and so on. Messages from mobiles will only bring even more c***, but you know me I'm always ranting so wtf? ;)
Thanks for the effort and update btw.

I'm of the same mind as DWAM. Thus, and enthusiastic 'meh' from me.
I don't see too much in way of benefit when compared to the functions of the previous forum server.
[sarcasm] Of course the best thing is that my email is publicly available, from within the profile. [/sarcasm]
(The sarcastic aspect of the comment above is "the best thing". I do not approve.

I largely agree with DWAM, while people cry out that it's a mobile-centric world, as long as vMix runs on a real computer THIS forum doesn't need to be mobile-first. Other forums I use rely upon tapatalk to provide a more optimal mobile experience.

Just to confirm. Email addresses are not publicly visible. It is possible for registered users to send an email to another user (sort of like a PM), but this has now been disabled.

Does everyone agree that the content font should be larger? As that is an easy fix.

Title bar not visible once visited subject in form, same color as bar, fonts too small in main body and headers.

Thanks everybody for your input so far. We are still tinkering with the formatting and appreciate your patience.
The font size in some areas has now been increased. (May need to refresh your browser a couple of times to see the changes)
Too big? Still too small? Let us know!
